Conferences & Corporate Meetings
The main hall can accommodate large groups and conferences, while six smaller meeting / dining rooms can be used for smaller gatherings or break-out sessions. Our staff can help you create the settings that meet your specific needs. Oakhurst is perfect for that Corporate Retreat you’ve been dreaming of planning.
The contract provides for seating for 200 guests. Guest count over 200 requires rental of additional tables and chairs by the lessee. We can seat 350 guests using our covered patio if needed.
The center's sound system is included in the contract for use during your event by a preferred vendor.
Decorations / Set-up
On the day of your event, the premises are available to you after 10 a.m. We take care of the set-up and clean-up, and everything else your contract includes, such as tables (rectangular or round), table linens (white, black, chocolate, and ivory colors), china, chargers, crystal, tableware, aisle markers, vases, candelabrum, mirrors, lanterns (used either along the walkway or as table decorations), and non-floral decorations in the gardens and hall.
Preferred vendors are found on the "Preferred Vendors" page. These professionals are "tried and true" providers of consistently quality service. You should interview potential vendors to identify the best fit for your needs
Oakhurst can provide a cash bar. Oakhurst is licensed to serve and sell wine and beer; all State of Georgia laws will apply. Bartenders will be at least 21 years old. Guests under 21 will not be served alcohol. Guests who appear to have exceeded their alcohol consumption limit will also not be served. Alcohol service is discontinued at least 30 minutes before the end of the event.
There is a separate contract for alcohol service. Fees are not included in the package pricing and will be determined with each client.
