The contract provides for seating for 200 guests. Guest count over 200 requires rental of additional tables and chairs by the lessee. We can seat 350 guests using our covered patio if needed.
Decorations / Set-up
The premises are available to you as of 10 a.m. on your wedding day. We take care of set-up, clean-up, and everything that your contract offers, such as: tables (round or rectangular) and table linens of black, white, chocolate, and ivory colors, and aisle markers. You may coordinate with us to use additional décor items such as: chargers, candelabras, vases, mirrors, and lanterns (can be used along walkway or as table decorations) to set up as you would like.
Bridal Suite includes a shower as well as full length mirrors and elevated chairs to accommodate stylists and make-up artists. Groom’s Room provides the opportunity for fun and relaxation with a large comfortable couch and TV with DVD player.
To ensure quality, Oakhurst strongly recommends the use of our Preferred Vendors. These vendors are “tried and true” professionals. We have found them to provide consistent quality service. We suggest that you interview potential vendors and select the ones that seem the best fit for your needs.
Oakhurst is licensed to serve and sell (cash bar) wine, beer and distilled spirits. All alcoholic beverages served or sold on facility property must be dispensed by Oakhurst staff. Laws of the State of Georgia apply. Bartenders will be at least 21 years of age. Guests under the age of 21 will not be served alcoholic beverages. Care will be exercised not to serve alcohol to anyone who has exceeded his or her limit. The service of alcohol will be discontinued at least 30 minutes before the conclusion of the event.
The fee for the service of alcohol is not provided in the package pricing. The fee will be determined and agreed upon separately between the client and Oakhurst. An additional contract will be signed for alcohol service.
